We are hiring a Special Event Sales Associate who will manage our booth during the holidays.  If you have a “good vibes only” attitude, are eco-conscious and out-going, love candles and have an interest in supporting a woman-owned business, we are looking for you. This position will require travel within Denver and setting up (interior only, no tent set-up) at a local market Monday - Wednesday for 4 weeks starting mid-Nov., approximate hours are 10am-8pm. *Events are outdoors*

Duties and Responsibilities


  • Setting up booth daily - arriving 30 minutes early to ensure everything is ready to go

  • Proactively engaging with customers

  • Managing sales and packing items for customers

  • Learning about scents and our brand to answer customer questions

  • Tracking inventory at the end of the night for restocking

  • Driving to Wash Park prior to event to pick-up candles

  • Lifting candle crates up to 30 pounds each

  • Standing for long periods of time



  • Self-motivated, you will be working alone most times

  • Positive attitude, a want to learn about candles and running a small business

  • Enjoys talking to people and maintains professional demeanor

  • Experience in retail sales

  • Reliable, dependable and honest

  • Great at multitasking

  • Customer Service

  • Familiar with Square POS 



  • $14/hr plus commission for daily sales when working
